A friend of my family is a resident on long term care, most of the staff are friendly and activities are great and fun for the residents, they could use a do over in the kitchen maybe think about hiring a chef or a better menu for patients with an alternative menu instead of old peanut butter and jelly sandwich’s. The staff are very caring and friendly as well a few staff that stood out to me was David on day shift he takes excellent care of his patients and my family friend loves him and I think her name is Deb who is also wonderful and takes superb care of her patients they are both great, for the evening shift there’s Mary she goes above and beyond for her patients and so does Geraldine who works on the weekends. Those 4 people put their heart into the care they provide and I wanted to say thank you and it doesn’t go unnoticed! Edit** I do not know what happened to the staff that I had mentioned in my earlier post, I hear that everyone’s on a different schedule and that this place uses agencies now and that most of the staff that worked here prior has left, it is under a new administration which in my opinion has brought this place down so much, it is not about the residents anymore, I believe it is about the $ now, I’ve talked to a few residents that have told me that there is no hot water on long term care side and has not been in a few months, and that the care is not the same as it was months before and that agency’s are mostly the staff now I am not sure if that is why the care has changed but if it is then in my opinion why use agency’s if the care is not up to satisfaction? So I am changing my 5 stars to 1 star that place has gone down so much since the new administrator has taken over and that is sad

I don’t want to specify any stars. My former husband was admitted 12/23/25. Staff was pleasant but at times there was extended time frame for call light to be answered whether myself or he called. St times, there was noticeable odors in hallway. The business office gratefully helped with some matters we needed help with. Where I got irritated is after he had to be sent to ICU. I called many times ti ask questions about his return as we were dealing with VA. I found out the hard way he was discharged 3 days after being sent out. They did not call me to pick up his belongings. I had to discover that on my own. Again, i dont wish to specify any stars as i prefer to be neutral stance. I just wanted to list an FYI.
Portia is a sweet heart. She really takes care of the patient’s behind the scenes where I beli
If you have a loved one that can’t talk and is bed bound ,,THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR THEM TO BE. Our family members was barely gotten out of bed or even dressed altho it was requested that he be so many times. When I visited I never saw anyone in his room.. He was completely neglected. The staff was not friendly nor helpful . Someone needs to do a complete investigation of that place . My family member Died from their neglect , He was found comatose by his wife..If he had of been checked on ..wouldn’t they have found him themselves ?
My husband was at Linley Park for memory care. The staff in the offices were good and mostly listened to my concerns. My husband had 3 rooms. The first room he was in, he had a roommate, but my loved one was loud and kept the other person awake at night. They moved him to a very nice room and was taken care of very well in that part of the home. They moved him again into the older part of the building and it’s like they put him there and forgot about him. The facility didn’t even inform me that they had moved him, I had Covid and couldn’t visit for a week. A family friend called me and asked me if I was aware that they had moved him and I was not. When I asked the social worker about it she said that it was noted that they called and left a message. No call, no message. He was always dirty and his hand that he couldn’t open good was crusted with dead skin and filth, his eyes were always crusted shut. Dirty briefs were in the trash can and on the floor on numerous occasions. I went in on Christmas Eve and he was complaining about hurting in his lower stomach, I told the nurse and requested he be checked for a uti. She said she would see if he could have something for pain and see about getting him checked for the uti. She left the room and I never seen her again until I was leaving and stopped at the nurses station to see if they were following thru with the uti request. I had requested several times that he be checked for a uti. On January 15th, I walked into his room and he was barely breathing and I couldn’t get him to respond. I ran and got the ADON, who came into the room, checked his pulse, and then decided to give him oxygen. He asked me if I wanted him sent to the hospital. He was transported to Anmed and later passed away because of sepsis. He was so dehydrated that the nurses couldn’t even get an IV in him. For someone to pass away from sepsis, they had to have been sick for I while. 12 hours from being unconscious, which means he was like that that morning when he was supposed to have been fed and cleaned up for the day. My husband was completely neglected and if I hadn’t went in that day, he would have died in that room and only God knows how long he would have laid there until he was found. He was a proud veteran and loved by many. I did my homework and checked their reviews and the grades from dhec. That is why I had trusted them. Please if you can, avoid this place at all costs. I would love to know if anyone else has experienced anything like this at this place. I would also like to add that he had pneumonia. He was only up 1 time after they moved him to the last room. Even tho I had requested that he was gotten up at least every other day
The good: The rehab department is the reason for the 2 stars. They provide attentive, helpful care and listen to patients’ needs. Their suite is nicest part of the facility by far. The housekeeping department also deserves a shout out for being kind and empathic, sometimes more than the nursing staff. The bad: Unanswered call buttons ring 24/7. I would hear them in my head for hours after leaving there for the day. Sometimes the staff is truly occupied, but I’ve also seen it happen when several staff are sitting around the main desk. Another time a staff member watched tv on her phone throughout her shift while the bells just rang and rang. If the patient needs something, including help to the bathroom, they may get it soon or they might get it in 3 days. If you want to be sure that your loved one gets what they need, you need to be there on a near-constant basis. The nursing care is scattershot. Meds are not distributed at regular intervals so you’re out of luck if your medication is time sensitive. My mother was supposed to have 3 breathing treatments a day and got anywhere between 0 and 2. Some nurses there clearly care about their jobs/patients, but some absolutely do not and it shows. We had problems getting 2 of the 3 aftercare referrals started and both of them blamed Linley Park’s paperwork. The ugly: Make sure you know what your loved one is being given at medication time. The first night, Houston tried to pass off Tylenol to my mother instead of her strong opiate medication. I only found out because I asked what she had been given. There seemed to be no awareness of the potential for withdrawal or the impact of interrupting her necessary palliative care. This is what nursing care looks like for the less-resourced in one of the richest nations in the world. In a word, it is bleak.
DONT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE & if you do stay with them 24/7 these people are horrible ! Absolutely negligent!!!!

very good atmosphere, administration was great along with the nurses and just about every one we came in contact with was very helpful or found someone who could help when and if we needed something, even went above and beyond to accommodate to his needs and wants even though he is ready to come to home they didn’t make it harder being away..

About two weeks ago I was making a decision to transport my father from Oconee Hospital to an inpatient Physical Therapy Rehab Center. I didn’t have enough time to visit the centers, so I compared the google reviews with the CMS Medical reviews and Linley Parke had tremendous ratings. They transported him that evening and I showed up about an hour later. Within 15 minutes of me seeing the unprofessionalism, unsanitary conditions and the care that was being given at this place, I immediately contacted the director and demanded my father be transported back to the hospital. Don’t be fooled by pictures and ratings. Go see it for yourself. I can’t believe the medical board lets this place remain open.

Thank you Linley Park for hosting a weekly Bible study for your residents. Spiritual healing promotes physical and mental healing and you have added to the complete healing of all those under your care. This Monday morning Bible study proclaims God’s love and mercy to those who wish to receive it. The staff provides assistance to those interested. Thank you for your love.
If it wasn’t for the her nurses, even though we never saw them) the ones that did help went out of their way. Meesa was a God send. Now for the rest of our experience…the review photos show are OBVIOUSLY staged photos. My mother would be sitting in her excitement if we weren’t staying by her side all day. The 9hrs I stayed with my mom her nurse came in once! It was to tell us she was peeking in on her patients and going to LUNCH! NEVER SAW HER AGAIN! We asked for help to change and lift my mom….20mins later no one showed. Had to search and ask a critial nurse for assistance. The room was dated, equipment dated, food…well see picture. That is oatmeal, I guess and eggs. We had her transfered to another facility immediately. Garbage not taken, we had to put it in hallway so her room did not smell. As the photos show…not the bright welcoming image they portray their video and photos.

After a severely traumatic car wreck left my step mom with multiple injuries, she was admitted to Linley park rehab for intensive physical rehabilitation. I cant express enough gratitude for the compassionate and professional care she received from the entire team. When we first arrived the whole team came by her room and introduced themselves and the role they played there. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate her and make her as comfortable as they could with all the pain she experienced. Within 17 days she made a complete turnaround. I cant remember alot of the staff names but I do want to comment on a few that stood out to me. First Jeff. He is amazing at what he does. My mom didn’t like him at first and he said she would grow to love him and this she did. Thank you Jeff for your commitment to providing the best care ever. And his wife Susie. They are a true Gem Her physical therapist. The guy over therapy there is amazing. He was very patient w her needs and made personal care only she needed. His plan was very effective. Allison is part of his team. We cant say enough good things about her. Her encouragement and spiritual is exactly what she needed. I personally enjoyed conversing w her. She is uplifting and we so much appreciate her. She played a big role in her success. Allison, we are forever grateful for the inspiration you give. To the whole physical therapist team you taught her how to adapt to daily task so she could function better at home. The nursing staff was attentive and compassionate. Always responding. Thanks Holly Lee is the best. If we had any questions we could go by her office or shoot her a text and always responding quickly. I cant say enough good things about her. The only negative comment is about their food. She said it was not enjoyable. Lillian is someone Ann said she was precious and took care of her. I wish I knew all the names at linley Park. But I would recommend this place to anyone needing rehabilitation

All the staff is very nice and efficient. The only problem is they need more of them. Sometimes you have to wait because staff is busy helping others with a serious problem.Especially at night they need more help. I became friends with quite a few of them. Cna Michelle and Amy and Brittini are excellent . Head of nursing Jeff does a great job. Also nurses Harley and Jackie are very caring. I really liked my physical therapists Meghan and Allison and my occupational therapist Rebecca. Even housekeeping Susie and Kristin are great. The activities directors Anna and Hailey made it fun. I would go there again. I feel it is a better place than others.

The staff is very nice and friendly. However the care was lacking when I took my mom there straight from the Hospital. She was recovering from pneumonia and was sent to Linley park for continued care and rehab to build up her strength. She needed help walking she is very unstable on her feet. While I was still there we wrang the call button and no one answered after 20 minutes I went to find a Nurse or nurse asst and could find any. No one at the Nursed station and 6 call lights going off. I complained to administration and was reassured by all that it was not going to happen again. But it did! I did not feel it was safe to leave her there and risk a fall.

Several staff members at LPPA have became more like family rather than staff. The activities director comes up with some of the best ideas for the residents. We love her! My mom has finally came out of her shell and loves to participate in the activities. Many of them greet my children and I by name and always make us feel welcome. The social service director goes above and beyond to make my mom’s stay pleasant. Thanks LPPA!
